Applying / Extending Visas and Residence Permits
We recommend contacting us in an early stage, preferrably before you even leave your home country, so we're able to guide you in the many steps towards being a legal resident. Of course we also welcome people who only need their papers to be 'updated' and are already living in Czech Republic.Applying for a Czech Republic C+D Visa
Especially for 3rd-Country Nationals the Foreign Police rules have become much more strict.Basically there are only 3 ways to get a C+D Visa:
- having a jobcontract and a Work Permit from a CZ-based company,
- registering a Trade License,
- founding an s.r.o. Company.
Applying for a Visa for Employment Purposes and Work Permit
We can help you and your employer with the workpermit application if you already found a job in Czech Republic. It is not possible to get a Work Permit before you have a job contract from a czech company.Also, Alexio.cz is not able to find a job for you, or provide an invitation to Czech Republic.
After you get the Work Permit, then the Visa application process can be started.
The whole process can take 3-4 months, especially if you have to apply at the embassy in your home country. The price of a Work Permit application is from 7.500 CZK *
The price of a Visa application is 5.000 - 10.000 CZK *
depending on the complexity.
Applying for a Business Visa on the basis of a Trade License or s.r.o. Company
In order to apply for the Business Visa there must be proof of the registration of the trade license, the foundation papers of the s.r.o. company or already existing trade license or s.r.o. company. Furthermore, the applicant must show he has at least 140.000 CZK per year per person for living expenses.For most nationalities, we do not recommend applying for a Trade License or using a ready-made company without basic capital. The safest way with the smallest chance of being rejected (but no guarantee) to apply for a Business Visa is to found a new s.r.o. company, put in the basic capital of 200.000 CZK, and apply with a maximum of 4 shareholders.

Applying for a temporary Residence Permit for EU-citizens
EU-Citizens can get a temporary Residence Permit from the Foreign Police in Czech Republic, there is no need to apply for it while still in the home country.The price of a temporary Residence Permit for EU Citizens is from 2.500 CZK *

Applying for a temporary Residence Permit on the basis of Marriage
3rd-Country Nationals married to EU-Citizens can get a temporary Residence Permit (valid for 5 years) from the Foreign Police, there is no need to apply it while still in the home country - although some documents from the homecountry need to be brought. Both partners need to apply.The price of a temporary Residence Permit on the basis of Marriage is from 5.000 CZK *

Applying for a permanent Residence Permit
A permanent Residence Permit can only be applied for at the Foreign Police in Czech Republic. For holders of a Visa the general rule is that they can apply after 5 years of stay in Czech Republic and passing a language test.The price of a permanent Residence Permit is from 5.000 CZK *

Getting Health Insurance (VZP / Maxima / OZP)
The foreign police will only accept health insurance of a czech insurance company.We can get you Health Insurance from all large insurance companies VZP / Maxima / OZP).
A ballpark figure is +/- 5.000 CZK / year for an adult, for a basic emergency health insurance.
Some companies have the habit of selling needlessly-expensive insurances that do not cover you any better than the basic ones. EU-citizens with a trade license already have automatically insurance through the trade license.
Legalized Translation Services
For almost all applications legalized translations and apostille stamps are needed. You could have your documents (including the apostille) translated into Czech in your home country, but far cheaper is to send / bring your documents and Alexio will have them translated here for you.Above prices for Visa / Residence Permit applications do not include translation costs.
Alexio DOES NOT send invitation letters
Alexio does not send invitation letters for visa application. Apply for a tourist visa instead, or have us form the company remotely and then apply for a business visa directly, based on this company.Finding accomodation / residence address
Alexio can not help you with finding accomodation or a (fake) residence address.Contact a real estate agent or look on S Reality.cz for that.
Finding office space / business seat address
There are many agencies offering office space. Some of them are excellent, some of them are dubious.The same applies for the properties themselves.
Alexio is not a real estate agency, but we can help you finding the right property for the right price at the right party, accompany / represent you when viewing the property and -maybe the most important- taking a close look at the contract before you sign it
